Master Drawings New York (MDNY)
MDNY began in 1995 an art fair dedicated to Old Master drawings on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Since its inception, the fair has grown to include drawings and original works on paper from all periods from over 30 international dealers who exhibit their fine drawings in different locations along Madison Avenue, from East 63rd street to East 86th.
In May of 2016 Allison Wucher, owner of Silverpoint Fine Art, was officially appointed as the New York Representative of Master Drawings New York 2017.
Allison was hired to help expand the visibility of the fair and promote partnerships with institutions who are affiliated with drawing scholarship, exhibition, acquisition and sales.
Pennwick Foundation
Silverpoint Fine Art works closely with the Pennwick Foundation, a New York 501(c)3 operating foundation, as a consulting curator and representative of the collection.
The holdings of the Pennwick Foundation consist of Robert Frank photographs and an extensive collection of German Expressionist Periodicals.
Estate of Ed Powis Jones
We represent the estate of artist Ed Powis Jones (American, 1919-1998). In additional to handling the cataloging and logistics for the estate, we also are promoting the work by building a website
While Ed Powis Jones was known to most in the art world circles as a reputable collector of fine prints, drawings and paintings, he was also an incredibly inventive and eclectic self-taught artist. His works span across many different experimental media - including early xerox, color photography, collage sculpture and various forms of printmaking. Culminating in a full installation of his two and three-dimensional works at MoMA PS.1 in 1980.
