MDNY began in 1996 as an art fair dedicated to Old Master drawings on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Since its inception, the fair has grown to include drawings and original works on paper spanning all periods. Each year 30 international dealers exhibit their fine drawings in different locations along Madison Avenue, from East 63rd to East 86th Street.

In May of 2016, Silverpoint Fine Art was officially appointed as the New York Representative of Master Drawings New York 2017.

Silverpoint was hired to help expand the visibility of the fair and promote partnerships with institutions who are affiliated with drawing scholarship, exhibition, acquisition and sales.

Silverpoint Fine Art represents the estate of artist Ed Powis Jones (American, 1919-1998). In addition to handling the cataloging and logistics for the estate, Silverpoint is also promoting the work by building a website (due to launch Fall 2016).

While Ed Powis Jones was known to most in the art world circles as a reputable collector of fine prints, drawings and paintings, he was also an inventive and eclectic self-taught artist. His works span many different experimental media - including early xerox, color photography, collage sculpture and various forms of printmaking. His career culminated in a full installation of his two and three-dimensional works at MoMA PS.1 in 1980.
